Newborn photo shoots can be a lengthy process so I have come up with a list to help you through this special time in your newborn’s life. During the shoot your baby with be with the photographer most of this time so please get comfortable and rest in the sitting area so we can work their magic in the shooting areat. We definitely have our systems of what works to quickly to settle babies and move right on to the next pose. Our goal is to get plenty of variation for you to choose from.

Quickly off the top of my head, here are a few things to pack for your studio newborn shoot:

Extra Bottle (formula is great for keeping babies sleeping longer)
Pacifiers
Ipad, book, computer, (for yourself or children)
Make-up and hairbrush including baby hairbrush
Food, snacks and a drink
Extra diapers (next size up is great so they don’t leave marks when we remove them)
For mom, dad and Family (matching outfits)
Extra clothes (in case of an accident)

Tonya goes through all of this planning in detail with you prior to the shoot so don’t worry. She loves to walk into studio shoots with a shot list and plan of what colors, poses, and variations we are doing. That way there’s more time spent shooting/soothing rather than figuring out the next shot.
