We met through mutual friends at a Jaguars preseason game. Shawn would stop by my tailgate every week and finally asked for my number later in the season. We didn’t hang out until we ran into each other one night at Taco Lu. He came to meet my friend, Brooke, and I at Engine 15 for a drink afterwards.

How did he pop the question?

Shawn and my best friend, Reagan, planned a boat day with some of our close friends. We all met at Shark Tooth Island, one of our favorite spots to take the boat. He popped the question when I had wandered a little bit away from the group. I was completely surprised and our friends were all ready with champagne to celebrate!

What was your favorite moment(s) from the wedding?

I don’t know if I could pick a favorite moment. The entire night was exactly what I wanted. I wanted to have a great band and to make sure our friends and family had fun from beginning to end! I loved the few moments Shawn and I would stop to look around during our reception seeing all of our favorite people having fun and dancing!

How would you describe your overall wedding experience?

My wedding experience was great! I knew from the beginning that the band was the #1 thing that I cared about. We booked Who Rescued Who, I knew that they would keep the energy level up and everyone on the dance floor!
